Not much is known about Vogue other than that she was handed in as a stray.
A new addition has been added to the Leicestershire Police Dog department.
TPD Vogue, who is a Belgian Malinois, was highlighted to the force by a local rescue centre as having the potential credentials to become a police dog.
Not much is known about Vogue other than that she was handed in as a stray and she is approximately 11-12 months old.
She was named Vogue by the staff at the rescue centre due to her long legs.
Leicestershire Police said: "She has been teamed up with PC Sewell who recently tragically lost PD Jura. She has big paws to fill but we are all hopeful that she will grow into her already big paws and become a licensed police dog in the future.
"Over the last few days she has been undertaking some environmental training and has visited Leicester Train Station and yesterday evening East Midlands Airport. We would like to say a big thank you to all the staff at both locations who have been so supportive in making this possible. Vogue has enjoyed getting to meet everyone and experiencing some different surroundings.
"Paws crossed for TPD Vogue."
