BUSES

• Leicestershire County Council has launched 12 new seasonal bus services.
• The free services across the county will increase access to local destinations as well as festive events. 
• One of the routes takes people to Hinckley Festive Feast and Craft Fair on Sunday.

NHS 

• University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust (UHL) has become the first acute trust in the country to start using a safety app to keep colleagues safe.  
• The SafeZone App has gone live across the Leicester Royal Infirmary, Leicester General Hospital and Glenfield Hospital sites, including surrounding car parks. 
• Through the app, staff can share their location and alert security teams about any incidents, including violence or aggression.

• You can now nominate people for the Active Awards in Hinckley and Bosworth.
• The Borough Council are looking for volunteers, coaches, clubs, schools, and teams that go above and beyond.
• There are categories for Junior Club/Team of the Year, Junior Sports Person of the Year and Junior Unsung Hero
