It is still not known if the gun was discharged.
Three local men have been arrested in connection with an attempted murder in Nuneaton on 16 January.
It is alleged that at approximately 8.30pm, a 31-year-old man was approached by an unknown male, who pulled out a gun and aimed it at him.
The incident took place in Queen Elizabeth Road and it is not known if the gun was discharged.
A 32-year-old man from Coventry was arrested in connection with the incident on Friday 28 January.
A second man, aged 39, from Nuneaton, was then arrested by firearms officers in the early hours of Saturday 28 January.
A third man, aged 41 and also from Nuneaton, handed himself into Nuneaton police on Saturday 28 January.
All three men were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and have since been released on conditional bail while investigations continue.
