Warwickshire Police is appealing for witnesses following an incident in Nuneaton Wednesday afternoon.
In a statement the force said: "At around 3.20pm, two women were in a verbal altercation outside Weddington Primary School on Winchester Avenue.
Shortly afterwards, a collision occurred between a car and a pedestrian on the same road.
The pedestrian, a woman in her 30s, was seen by the ambulance but did not require hospital treatment.
A 47-year-old woman from Nuneaton was arrested in connection with the incident. She has been released on bail pending enquiries."
Investigating officer, Det Sgt Gavin Wallwork said: “An investigation has been launched into the incident and a number of enquiries are currently being carried out.
“We’re aware there were a number of people who may have witnessed this incident or may have filmed it on their phones.
“If anyone witnessed the incident or has any footage, please call us on 101 quoting incident 231 of 4 November 2020.”
