Two men died at the scene.
Two men have died following a collision in Woodhouse on Tuesday 3rd October.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage following the incident which happened at around 6.20 pm.
Officers believe that a black Range Rover Sport collided with a wall in Forest Road, close to School Lane, before then colliding with a grey Volkswagen Transporter.
Emergency services attended the scene and discovered two passengers in the Range Rover – one in his 20s and one in his 30s - with serious injuries. Unfortunately, both died at the scene.
The driver of the car and another passenger are reported to have left the scene before police arrived.
Following further enquiries, two men aged 31 and 36 have been arrested on suspicion of death by dangerous driving.
A 35-year-old man has also been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
The driver of the van sustained minor injuries but did not require hospital treatment.
Detective Sergeant Jon Putnam, from the Serious Collison Investigation Unit, said: “We are asking any motorists travelling in this area around the time of the collision to come forward if they witnessed anything or have any dash cam footage which could help with our investigation.”
