A woman's been assaulted in Nuneaton.
It reportedly happened in the Asda carpark on Newtown Road just outside the main entrance to the shop on Sunday 16th February.
The woman was in her car when another woman believed to have opened the door and assaulted her.
The victim was taken to hospital with cuts to her face but has since been released.
The suspect is described as a white female, around 30 years old with long dark hair in a bun. She was believed to be wearing a dark coat and black leggings.
PC Jon Shand said: "This was a nasty incident which left the victim understandably shaken and with injuries to her face.
“While no arrests have been made, investigations are ongoing as we try to establish the circumstances surrounding this incident.
“We believe there were a number of people in the Asda carpark at around the time of the incident who may have witnessed something and we're keen for them to come forward.
"Any information, no matter how small, could be significant to our investigation."
