"Did you see or hear anyone or any vehicles in the area around that time?"
Detectives are appealing for witnesses after an aggravated burglary in Loughborough on Sunday evening (12 October).
The occupant of a house in Byron Street Extension heard a noise around 8.30pm.
When she entered the hallway, she saw three masked men.
The men threatened the victim with a screwdriver and held her down before stealing jewellery.
It’s believed the suspects were last seen driving away towards Derby Road and the town centre.
Detective Sergeant Parm Kang said: “This was a distressing incident for the victim and deeply concerning. Officers have been carrying out enquiries in the area and urged anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in Byron Street Extension around 8.30pm on Sunday evening to get in touch.
“Did you see or hear anyone or any vehicles in the area around that time? Any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, could help with our investigation.”
Anyone with any information is asked to contact 7693 Anita Vaughan on 101 or report via www.leics.police.uk, quoting crime number 25*600393.
