Leigh Wood took a wide unanimous decision victory over Josh Warrington in front of his hometown supporters at the Nottingham Arena.

The former world champions were rematching after previously fighting in 2023.

Wood secured a comeback knockout victory in their first fight and repeated the victory over his rival when they clashed on Saturday.

The Nottingham fighter didn't score another stoppage but dominated proceedings, winning a wide unanimous decision.

Wood won 117-111, 119-110 and 119-109. "I worked hard for this and my team worked hard," Wood said.

"I'm not going to make a decision tonight but if it is the last one, what a fight to go out on."

Bilal Fawaz wrote another chapter in his remarkable story. Stateless, Fawaz for almost two decades has been striving to have his citizenship assured.

He was trafficked to the UK as a child, and forced to work, cooking and cleaning, in a household. Eventually he managed to escape and was taken into social care. But when he turned 18 he fell through the cracks in that system and has subsequently sought to make his way as a boxer.

After beating Ishmael Davis on the Nottingham undercard, Fawaz has become the British and Commonwealth super-welterweight champion.

He took a majority decision win over Davis after 12 rounds, level 114-114 on one card but winning 115-114 and 115-113 for the other two judges.

After losing consecutive world title bouts to Mikaela Mayer over the course of 2024 and 2025, Sandy Ryan has become a champion once again at a new weight when she beat Karla Ramos Zamora by majority decision.

Ryan got drawn into a battle against Zamora and they were level 95-95 with one of the judges after the 10-rounder. But Ryan won 97-93 for the other two officials to claim the WBC super-lightweight title.

Popular Doncaster heavyweight David Allen returned from his defeat to Arslanbek Makhmudov. He dropped Karim Berredjem twice to force a finish in the first round.

Molly McCann, the UFC star who's converted to boxing, had her third professional bout and chalked up a six round points win over Beata Dudek, taking the verdict 60-55.

Next McCann will box for the first time in her Liverpool hometown on the undercard of Callum Smith's WBO Interim light-heavyweight title bout with David Morrell.

Heavyweight prospect Leo Atang smashed aside Dan Garber, stopping him in their first round.
