LOROS Light Up a Life 2025

We warmly invite you to join us for our annual Light Up a Life event on Sunday 7th December - a special time to come together and remember those who hold a unique place in our hearts.

Since 1995, thousands of families and friends have gathered in the beautiful grounds of our Hospice for this cherished event. This year is extra special as we mark 40 years of LOROS care and 30 since our very first Light Up a Life gathering.

This year, we are also introducing a memory mailbox, where you can write a Christmas card or note to a loved one and post it as a special way of sending your thoughts or love.

The event begins at 4.30pm with time for reflection, readings, and a poignant moment when we light up the LOROS Christmas tree. You are welcome to arrive from 3pm on the day to visit our chapel, hang a star on the tree and see your loved one’s name in the Book of Remembrance. As evening falls, you will be able to view the wonderful Christmas tree with its lights shining for all those no longer with us.
