The driver of the car, a 32-year-old man from Coventry was arrested on suspicion of drink driving, failing to stop, dangerous driving, driving without insurance, driving without a license, and of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply.
He was released under investigation.
His passenger was also arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply. While in custody it is alleged he assaulted a police officer and was also arrested in connection with this.
He was bailed while enquiries continue.
