A boy aged 14 has been charged with murder following the discovery of a female body in south Wales.
Gwent police said the teenager from Blaenau Gwent, was arrested after the body was found in the Duffryn Park area of Blaina on 22 June.
Blaina is in the South Wales valleys, about 18 miles north of Cardiff.
There has been no formal identification, but police said the body is believed to be that of a 14-year-old girl called Lilly.
The girl's name is being released with her family's knowledge because it will form part of court proceedings, police say.
The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is in custody and will appear at Newport Magistrates' Court on Friday.
