Looksmaxxing influencer Braden 'Clavicular' Peters charged over alleged rape of 17-year-old

An online influencer has been charged with the rape of a teenage girl at his family's house.

A criminal complaint filed in Orleans District Court this month said that 20-year-old Braden Peters, known as 'looksmaxxing' influencer Clavicular, had been charged with rape, drugging someone for sexual intercourse and procuring liquor for someone under 21 years old.

The 18-year-old alleged that on 23 May 2025, while she was 17, Peters called her an Uber to his family's house in Massachusetts.

Once there, he got her drunk on vodka while they livestreamed online and then raped her, according to a complaint from the Chatham Police Department.

His mother and grandmother were allegedly in the house.

"Looksmaxxers" sometimes attempt to achieve the optimal male physique through extreme measures, including "bone smashing".

According to the Massachusetts criminal complaint, the girl told police she met Peters on Instagram in May 2025, while she was a minor.

A police report included in the complaint said that an officer who reviewed clips from Peters' livestream on the night of the alleged offence found a video that showed the girl telling Peters, "wait, I'm so drunk though", to which he responded "it's OK" before they kissed.

According to the complaint, she told police that she woke up the next morning to Peters having sex with her, and that she did not say anything to Peters as he was on top of her because she was in "shock," and that she never verbally consented.

She said that after Peters finished having sex with her, "he was so cold" and ordered her an Uber home.

Peters rose to internet notoriety last year for promoting "looksmaxxing" - an extreme trend where people pursue attractiveness by any means necessary, including the use of drugs and plastic surgery.

Looksmaxxing originates from "involuntary celibate" or "incel" communities, an online subculture made of those who believe society unjustly denies them sexual or romantic attention.

Peters denies any links to incel culture and insists many times that looksmaxxing is about self-improvement.

He and two other people were charged in April in Florida with shooting at an alligator. He and another person were given six months of probation and ordered to serve 20 hours of community service, according to NBC South Florida.
