A body has been found by police searching for a missing 78-year-old woman, Christine Murton.
She is thought to have left her house in Rushmere St Andrew, Suffolk, on the morning of 12 November.
The OAP was reported missing that evening, and subsequently found to have left her house on foot after being captured on a door cam a couple of streets away.
Now the body of a woman has been discovered in woodland close to Stratton Hall, near Levington, some four miles to the south.
Formal identification has not yet taken place, but Christine's family have been informed.
Last week, detectives released footage showing the pensioner walking along a footpath on the edge of Nacton village.
In the clip, taken at 2.45pm on the afternoon she went missing, she was heading towards Decoy Wood.
She was wearing a purple jacket and blue trousers, and carrying a large shoulder bag. She was also wearing glasses.
Her car, a blue Toyota Yaris, initially could not be located but was later discovered at a retail park in Pinewood, on the outskirts of Ipswich.
Detective Superintendent Tom Pearse said: "The car had been parked at the retail park for a number of weeks.
"We understand that Christine had been unsure where it had been left and one line of enquiry was that she may have been retracing her steps to locate the vehicle."
The death is being treated as unexplained, but police said there aren't believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
A file will be prepared for the coroner.
