Armed police responded to reports of a robbery in Middlefleld Lane.
Armed police were called to Middlefield Lane in Hinckley at around 3.20pm on Monday 30 October after a report of an armed robbery.
The victims were approached in the street by three men who threatened them and stole a large quantity of cash.
The suspects then made off in a vehicle.
Leicestershire Police said in a statement: "Armed response officers were deployed in the interests of officer and public safety."
An area was cordoned off for scene of crime officers to investigate and has since been reopened for public access again.
