Dr Luke Evans also discussed the case for fairer funding for Leicestershire.
Dr Luke said “It’s a real privilege to welcome the Prime Minister to Hinckley, even if it is just for a short while.
“I never miss out on the opportunity though to push the case for fairer funding for Leicestershire and the need for improvements to the A5, and today was no different.
“It’s fair to say that the PM had a detailed knowledge of the importance of the A5 as a major artery and I am sure will he will be mindful of the importance of improving it in the futur
