The car stolen, which is pictured, is a white Mercedes Benz AMG C-63. It has a high engine power of 6.2L.
It is believed the car could still be in the area and officers are asking anyone who believes they have seen the vehicle to make contact.
The car may have had the stripes removed from the side of the vehicle and it is believed false plates are being used.
The burglary happened at a property in Markfield Road, Groby, between 9.30am and 10.30am on Tuesday 29 October.
Entry was gained to the property and the car keys taken leading to the vehicle being stolen.
No damage was caused to the property and no other items were stolen.
There were people in the property at the time of the incident but they were not in the part of the property where the crime was committed. No injuries have been reported.
Detective Constable Mike Steer said: “While the car may have had alterations made to its design, we believe it could still be in the area.
“If you believe you have seen the car in the area during the past month, you should get in contact with us.
“Have you seen it being driven around in the area – or have you noticed a similar-looking car parked on a street nearby? If you think you have any information which could help us in any way, please get in touch.
