An extension to the hugely popular children's play area in Argents Mead has now been opened.
The extension, which has safety surfacing and low level equipment to suit toddlers and less able children, blends in with the existing play area and the location itself.
The main castle-themed play area was opened 18 months ago and was designed for children up to the age of 12 years of age, using natural materials around the existing trees to reflect the history of the site.
Councillor Mark Nickerson, Executive Member for Neighbourhood Services, said: "When we first opened the play area, we did receive requests for a toddler and less able play area, and I think this just rounds off the whole complex, making it great for mums and toddlers before they go off to collect their children from schools nearby."
