A 36-year-old man has been charged with murder of David Darke in Appleby Magna.
A 36-year-old man has been charged with murder in connection with an assault in Appleby Magna on 21 December.
Nathan Gothard, 36, of Church Street in Appleby Magna, has also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon and is due to appear at Leicester Magistrates’ Court today (Monday 29 December).
The charge relates to the death of David Darke, who died on Saturday (27 December) as a result of a serious head injury he sustained in the incident.
