7-year-old Brodie

Brodie is described as an energetic bulldog cross who loves human interaction.

A bulldog cross has been given the title of Britain’s loneliest dog by the team at Woodside Animal Centre in Leicester.

7-year-old Brodie has spent over 530 days at the RSPCA centre.

Operations Manager, Jade Burton said: “Staff have noticed that Brodie has gone quiet in kennels after spending so long waiting for a new home. Brodie is a clever boy who learns quickly and is toy and treat-oriented. He is a really loving boy who deserves a chance at happiness.”

RSPCA inspectors found Brodie emaciated and living in inappropriate conditions in February 2022. He became a cruelty case animal, which means he had to wait for his case to go through court before he could become available for adoption, due to legal regulations.

Brodie is described as an energetic bulldog cross who loves human interaction.

The RSPCA team say he is now at an ideal weight, however, he is on medication to support him with a painful back.
