Five fire engines called to blaze at home in Claybrook Magna

The Incident Commander requested further appliances as it was believed people may have been inside the house.

A house in Claybrooke Magna is thought to have been set on fire by an electrical fault in the Television.

The emergency services were called to the home at 10:05 this morning (17th July) after a neighbour reported smoke coming from an upstairs bedroom.

It was later found that no one was in the property.

Two fire engines from Lutterworth, one fire engine from Hinckley, one fire engine from Market Bosworth, and one Fire Engine from Southern attended the scene.

Leicestershire Fire and Rescue said there is severe smoke to the property and fire damage to the Television and cabinet on the ground floor.
