Hinckley will come together today to remember a seven-year-old girl, Isla Tansey, who captured the heads of people all over the world with her campaign to find and hide painted pebbles to raise awareness of childhood cancer.
A celebration of her life is taking place in the town to remember Isla who passed away earlier this month.
Her family are welcoming the whole town. Here's all the details...
1. Where is the celebration for Isla?
It's taking place in Argents Mead in Hinckley Town Centre (LE10 1EQ) around the Band Stand where thousands of pebbles have been left in memory of Isla since her death.
2.. What time does it start?
The official start time is 13:00 hours. There will be a short service followed by an afternoon of events until 16:30pm.
3. What will happen?
There wil be a short service to remember Isla, followed by an afternoon of fun. There will be stone painting, performances from bands and groups and Fosse 107 will be playing some of Isla's favourite music.
4. Can I leave painted stones in the bandstand?
Isla's family would like everyone to take a box of stones away with them and continue Isla's legacy by re-hiding them. Boxes will be available.
5. Will there be car parking?
The nearest car parks are predicted to be very full. The advice is to use public transport to get in to HInckley or walk if you can as the town centre is predicted to be very busy.
