Police are questioning a 34-year-old from Warwickshire.
A 34-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following an attack in a Hinckley nightclub last weekend.
Officers attended a report of an assault in Gravity Nightclub in Regent Street at 00.50am and found a 29-year-old injured man.
He was taken to hospital where he remains in an induced coma. He is in a serious but stable condition.
The arrested man, from Warwickshire, remains in police custody where he is being questioned by detectives.
