Police Renew Appeal Six Months After Nuneaton Woman Katie Love Disappeared

Warwickshire Police have renewed their appeal for information six months after Nuneaton woman Katie Love disappeared.

Warwickshire Police are  renewing their appeal for information as we continue to investigate the Nuneaton woman’s disappearance.

Since she went missing, our major crime team has carried out extensive searches, trawled through hours of CCTV, and spoken to Katie’s friends and family as well as members of the local community.

Despite those efforts, sadly we’ve been unable to locate the 48-year-old, who is known across Hartshill and Kingsbury but has connections to Skegness too.

Now on the six-month anniversary of when she was last seen, we’re re-appealing for anyone with information about Katie’s disappearance to come forward. Detective Inspector Gareth Unett said: “We know Katie was last seen at the end of January and while we remain open-minded and truly hope Katie is found alive and well, the information we’ve gathered would sadly suggest she may have come to harm. We are therefore now treating her disappearance as suspected murder.

“As we continue to try to find her, we remain in close contact with Katie’s family and friends, providing updates and support, but given the length of time that has passed, it’s important to get closure for them.

“If you have information about Katie's disappearance or know where she may be, please tell us. Any information, no matter how small, could prove crucial to our investigation. Please share the appeal to help us find Katie so we can get answers for her loved ones.”
