A new 50 place Social, Emotional, Mental Health school is set to open at the Oakfield Short Stay site in September.

A spokesperson for Leicestershire County Council said: “We’re continuing to work closely with the schools involved in this challenging and ambitious programme of work, and we are very grateful for the support that they and their governors have given. We also know that parents are taking a keen interest in the new provision and we’ll be keeping them up to date with developments.”
