Six men arrested during protests in Nuneaton town centre have been banned from entering Warwickshire while a police investigation continues,
Seven men were arrested for public order offences in Nuneaton and all have since been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
Warwickshire Police said;
"On Saturday we worked with all involved to balance the rights of those people who wished to peacefully protest with the needs of the local community. The majority of people expressed their views peacefully, however we arrested the following individuals on suspicion of committing public order offences."
The men arrested are:
• A 36-year-old man from Warwick.
• A 30-year-old man from Newport.
• A 25-year-old man from Llanddoged.
• A 52-year-old man from Chelmsford.
• A 27-year-old man from Rothwell.
• A 28-year-old man from Cleckheaton.
• A 25-year-old man from Birmingham.
