A shop worker was punched by masked men who stole cash from the post office.
Police have launched an investigation after an armed robbery at a Post Office in Stoke Golding.
At 9.15am on Tuesday 3rd October, police were called to the premises in Church Walks by a member of staff reporting that two men wearing balaclavas had entered the store with weapons and were making threats.
They left the premises with cash. One woman was injured after being punched by one of the men, she was treated at the scene.
Police believe the suspects may have been driving a silver Audi A3, it was last seen driving off along the High Street towards Dadlington.
Both suspects have been described as being between 5ft 8ins to 5ft 10ins tall and of slim build.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have seen a similar Audi in the area this morning or witnessed any part of the incident.
