Students across Leicestershire and Warwickshire are finding out their A-level results today.
This year, student’s final results will be based on teachers' assessments after exams were cancelled because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Leicestershire County Council's urging students looking for guidance or support after receiving their results to seek help firstly from their school or college where staff will be available to advise on the options available.
They're careers advisors can also provide further advice either through schools and colleges or local centres and they can be contacted on 0116 305 6620.
Deborah Taylor, cabinet member for children and families at Leicestershire County Council said: "We are incredibly proud of our young people and the continual effort they have made, at what has been a very challenging time.
“I know a lot of hard work has gone into preparing for this moment and achieving these qualifications, and I’m sure many will be glad the wait is nearly over.
“I’d like to wish everyone receiving results the very best of luck, and hope they get the grades they need to take their next step."
