The incident happened on the 13th of July.
A 19-year-old has been charged in connection with a burglary in Nuneaton last month.
A safe was stolen during the burglary and a Volvo was taken and was later recovered by officers.
Mason Albrighton, of no fixed abode, was arrested in relation to a burglary at an address on the Long Shoot Nuneaton on 13 July 2022.
Albrighton was subsequently charged with burglary dwelling and theft as well as aggravated vehicle taking and vehicle damage.
He has been remanded to appear at Coventry Magistrates' Court today (Friday).
