A flight from Tel Aviv has made an emergency landing in Bulgaria after a bomb threat.
The A320 aircraft, which was flying from Tel Aviv to Vienna, was diverted to land in Sofia due to what Bulgaria's Ministry of Transport and Communications described as a "bomb threat signal".
According to information seen on FlightRadar24, the Austrian Airlines flight OS82 was diverted to Sofia and landed at 9.25pm UTC (10.25pm in the UK).
The ministry said that initial information held that there were six crew members and 51 passengers on board.
"During the flight, on the border with Romania, the crew reported a bomb threat signal and decided to land in Sofia extraordinarily," it added.
"According to the procedures, an Air Force fighter took off and accompanied the plane until it landed at the airport in Sofia.
"A working headquarters has been formed and the responsible institutions have started an inspection. Passengers were taken off board the aircraft."
Sky News has contacted Austrian Airlines for comment.
