A murder investigation is under way after the death of a teenager in Northampton.
Police were called yesterday evening to an address in Adnitt Road, in the Abington area, to reports a boy had been stabbed.
Despite the efforts of the public, police and paramedics, he died at the scene.
Detective Chief Inspector Ryan Catling said "several scenes" were in place and officers were doing house-to-house enquiries.
He urged anyone who saw any suspicious behaviour in the Adnitt Road area from 6pm on Tuesday to get in touch.
Members of the public who captured anything that may be of use on CCTV, doorbell camera or dashcam are also encouraged to contact police.
"Any small piece of information or footage is useful and could be the vital detail we need as part of our inquiry," said DCI Catling.
He added: "We also want to speak to anyone who may have seen two people acting suspiciously in Dallington Park from 7pm onwards."
Witnesses or anyone with information are asked to contact Northamptonshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
