A Gift To Lift have bought a holiday home to give cancer patients respite.
A Gift to Lift, a Hinckley-based charity, has achieved its goal of buying a holiday home in Norfolk.
The special holiday home will enable patients with cancer to have time away with their families to make memories.
Alex Hopwood founded the charity after receiving the news that her cancer was terminal and she decided she wanted to provide a holiday home in Norfolk for patients to respite.
Alex Hopwood lost her battle with blood cancer at age 24 in 2014.
Since then her family and friends have fundraised over £200,000 to buy the Norfolk property as well as giving wishes to blood cancer patients and donating to Blood Cancer UK which funds vital research.
Watch Mark Foster and Jacky Hopwood talk about the charity's success.
