At 5.30 am on Saturday police received a report of an injured male lying on the floor of Gipsy Lane.
Warwickshire Police are appealing for witnesses following a reported burglary and an assault in Nuneaton on Saturday morning (3 August).
At around 5.23 am officers received a report of a burglary involving a theft of a motor vehicle on Coventry Road.
A white man described as being over 6ft of slim build wearing a jacket with a hood that may have been black was reportedly seen fleeing the scene.
Then at 5.30 am police received a report of an injured male lying on the floor of Gipsy Lane.
