Plans have been submitted for a service station along the M69 near to Burbage.
The proposed site would be off the Stretton Baskerville roundabout between the M69 and the A5 Watling Street and has been submitted on behalf of Welcome Break Group.
The application, submitted to both Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council and Rugby Borough Council, shows plans to have 269 car parking spaces, picnic and dog walking areas, a petrol station and fast food restaurants.
