Loughborough Students’ Union has announced the Firework Extravaganza on Saturday 6th November won’t go ahead due to staffing shortages.
A statement on social media said: “The safety of guests is our top priority and due to the availability of security, stewards and logistical staff, unfortunately, we are unable to facilitate the event safely.”
“We offer our sincerest apologies for the disappointment caused through the changes to this event. A full refund will be issued to all existing ticket holders, who will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been completed.”
