Emergency Services at Triumph Motorcycles Open Day

More than 1,300 people visited the Triumph Motorcycles for an Emergency Services Open Day, bringing the local community face to face with response teams from across the East Midlands.

Visitors had the opportunity to explore emergency vehicles and specialist units, at the event on Sunday 12th April, as well as meet the frontline crews who keep local communities safe. The day also showcased the work of several community organisations, including St John Ambulance Cadets, the Leicester Museum Technology Association and the Hinckley Rotary IMPACT Club, who hosted family friendly activities.

A live road traffic collision (RTC) demonstration was delivered by Leicestershire Police, Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service and East Midlands Ambulance Service, with support from Kibworth‑based recovery specialists Crouch Recovery. The demonstration showed how emergency services work together during serious incidents, from first call to casualty care.

“It was great to welcome so many local families to the factory and to put the spotlight on the incredible work our emergency services do. It was fantastic to see the children talking to crews, asking questions and climbing into vehicles. The live RTC demonstration was especially impactful and showed just how quick and professional our first responders are when it matters most.”

The Emergency Services Open Day was part of Triumph Motorcycles’ ongoing programme of free‑to‑attend events, which are taking place throughout the summer at the Triumph Factory Visitor Experience in Hinckley.
