A47 still closed due to due flooding
We are being told by Severn Trent that the road opening is delayed and will be opening with temporary traffic lights shortly.
Due to the heavy rain today, at lunch-time there was a further issue of a large amount of surface flood water on the roundabout.
They are having to work with Leicestershire County Council and will open it when the water subsides.
They apologise for the inconvenience caused.
We will keep you updated as and when we get them.
