Hollycroft Primary School in Hinckley has been praised following its first Ofsted inspection, with inspectors recognising strong practice across the school.
The inspection took place on 23 June 2026, with the report published in September.
The school, on Greenfinch Road, opened in 2023 and is also Leicestershire's first net zero school.
Inspectors highlighted strong practice in areas including leadership and governance, behaviour and attendance, early years, inclusion, and pupils' personal development and wellbeing.
Early years was identified as a particular strength, with inspectors praising the ambitious curriculum, strong focus on communication and language, and highly effective teaching.
The report also highlighted a calm and inclusive school culture, with pupils described as showing respect towards each other and staff.
Inspectors recognised the work being done to support pupils with special educational needs and disabilities, as well as those facing additional challenges.
The school was also praised for its work in early reading and phonics, alongside a well-sequenced curriculum and strong emphasis on vocabulary.
Executive Headteacher Natalie Hackett said the school was "very proud" of the inspection outcome, adding that it recognised the dedication of staff, the warmth of the school community and the progress made by pupils.
Peter Merry, CEO of OWLS Academy Trust, which the school is part of, also welcomed the findings and praised the school's focus on inclusion, high expectations and strong leadership.
