Thankfully the incident was cleared quickly.
One of the most bashed bridges in England was struck once again this morning (9th September).
It appears the lorry driver misjudged the height of his vehicle and was left with a nasty surprise.
Police were called to the scene, and traffic was allowed to flow under the bridge in single file.
Traffic returned to normal just before 9am.
It is at least the second time this has happened in 2021.
