A man has died following a collision with a vehicle in Loughborough.
Officers were called to Holt Drive, at around 3.55am on Sunday 11th November, where the pedestrian, who is in his 60s, was found. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The vehicle involved in the collision had left the scene following the incident.
Detectives are continuing to establish the full circumstances of the incident and are appealing to anyone with any information to come forward.
Detective Constable Paul Bingham said: “We are carrying out full enquiries and are appealing to anyone who has any information to come forward.
“Were you driving in the area of Holt Drive during the early hours of this morning? Did you see or hear anything which caused you concern? Do you have any CCTV or dashcam footage from the area which could hold vital information?
“We urge anyone with any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, to get in touch.”
