Plain-clothed detectives caught the 33-year-old dealing drugs.
Martin McGuire, 33, was sentenced for possession of crack cocaine and heroin with intent to supply.
He was arrested in Princes Street, Nuneaton in June 2020 after plain-clothed detectives spotted a suspected drug deal.
McGuire was searched and the drugs were seized.
Detective Constable Sian Cook, Nuneaton Proactive CID, said: “The supply of drugs is a crime that has a huge impact on the most vulnerable members of our community. It is an appalling crime from which McGuire has profited.
“We welcome the sentence handed down by the court and encourage anyone with information about drug dealing in their community to contact Warwickshire Police.”
