A 29-year-old man has appeared in court charged with murder following an incident in Nuneaton
Bradd Darby, 30, from Nuneaton, died in hospital from a stab wound following the incident on the corner of Barpool Road and Vernons Lane on Tuesday (20 February) morning.
James Lewis Norton, 29, from Nuneaton, is charged with his murder. He is also charged with wounding two other men, possession of an offensive weapon, possession of a firearm disguised as another object, and escaping lawful custody.
He made no plea and was remanded in custody to appear at Warwick Crown Court on Monday 26 February 2018.
A 24-year-old man from Nuneaton, who also suffered stab wounds, remains in a stable condition in hospital. He is under arrest for violent disorder.
A 52-year-old man from Nuneaton who also suffered a stab wound has been bailed until the end of March having been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.
A 30-year-old man from Nuneaton who was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder has also been bailed until the end of March.
