Barlestone Road near Bagworth was closed by the emergency services this morning as a van was involved in a road traffic collision
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue received a 999 call at 07:38 and two fire engines from Coalville and Market Bosworth were sent to the scene.
At 09:49 Leicestershire Police confirmed that they had closed the road due to a police incident.
Two casualties left the vehicle before the Fire Service arrived and they were treated by paramedics.
