A road in Leicestershire was completely blocked off (28 Jan) after rubbish was flytipped onto the carriageway.
Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council said that Fox Covert Lane in Stoke Golding was completely blocked due to "a large fly tip" which included tyres and rubbish.
Officials from the council were on-site clearing the rubbish.
Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council said that the fly-tip contained 50-60 car tyres, hundreds of used puppy pads, nappies, general food and household waste, a petrol tank and large containers with sand in.
Officers believe the waste was tipped overnight on Tuesday 27th January 2026.
