England have secured a place in the Women's Rugby World Cup final after beating France 35-17.

The Red Roses will now take on Canada in next Saturday's final at Twickenham after they beat New Zealand on Friday, inflicting the Black Ferns' first World Cup loss in 11 years.

England led 7-5 at half-time in the semi-final at Ashton Gate in Bristol and stamped their authority in the second half by scoring four tries.

Fullback Ellie Kildunne returned for England after missing the quarter-final against Scotland due to a concussion, scoring two of the five tries.

Amy Cokayne, Abbie Ward, and Megan Jones scored the other three, while fly-half Zoe Harrison landed five conversions.
