The County Council said they are still facing staff shortages.
New advice published to the Leicestershire County Council website warns further closures to waste sites are possible due to ongoing staff and driver shortages.
Currently, Bottesford and Shepshed waste sites are closed until further notice.
But the website was updated yesterday to encourage you, 'to only visit a waste site if it is essential to do so.'
This comes as both Charnwood and Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Councils have also warned of disruption to their garden and bulky waste collections. As they will be unable to make any missed pick-ups, they are advising people to use waste centres if necessary.
