A lorry has overturned on the A46 in Leicestershire.
It happened at the Hobby Horse Roundabout in Syston at 12:30 (16 Mar 2026).
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service sent crews from Southern Station, Birstall and Central Station and Leicestershire Police were also in attendance.
The lorry shed its load on to the northbound carriageway. One person was taken to hospital.
Motorists were advised to avoid the area and to expect long delays.
The road re-opened at just before 5pm.
