Arrest after report of rape in Nuneaton

Police have arrested a man from Bedworth after a woman was raped in Nuneaton.

Officers were called at 5am on 15th March to reports of a rape on Tomkinson Road.

On 16 March a man in his early 20s was arrested on suspicion of rape.

Police said "He remains in custody at this time."

Warwickshire Police is appealing for anyone wiht information to contact them.
