A patient being cared for at Hinckley and Bosworth Community Hospital and who had tested positive for Covid-19 has died.
In a statement, a spokesperson from the Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust said: "A man in his eighties, who had tested positive for Covid-19, has died at Hinckley and Bosworth Community Hospital.
The patient, who had underlying health conditions, died on Thursday 11th June.
We have spoken with his family and share our condolences. Our thoughts are with them at this difficult and distressing time.”
