Russells International Circus is coming to Loughborough for the first time, with five days of performances planned at Southfields Park from 14 to 18 October.
Russells International Circus will make its Loughborough debut this week, bringing a series of performances to Southfields Park.
The circus will be in the town from Wednesday, 14 October, until Sunday, 18 October 2026, with multiple shows planned across the five days, including two performances on Saturday.
Audiences are promised a two-hour show featuring aerial displays, daring stunts, comedy and other acts.
Charnwood Borough Council says the event will provide entertainment for residents and visitors of all ages, while also attracting people to the area and supporting the local economy.
Councillor Jennifer Tillotson, the council’s lead member for housing, economic development, regeneration and town centres, said the authority was delighted to welcome the circus to Loughborough for the first time.
She added that events like this help bring people together and create a vibrant atmosphere in the town.
