Police want to speak to anyone with footage of the incident.
Charnwood officers are appealing for witnesses and anyone with dashcam or mobile phone footage to come forward after a man in his 60s has reported that he was assaulted in Snells Nook Lane in Loughborough.
The incident was reported to have happened between 1.30 pm and 1.40 pm on Sunday 17 March.
The victim told police that he had been driving a Mercedes E Class when he was assaulted at the roadside by a man riding a motorcycle. The motorcyclist left the scene following the incident.
PC Scott Elsmore, the investigating officer, said: “If you saw what happened or have any footage capturing the incident then I’d like to speak to you. Anything you’re able to provide could help.”
